The much-talked about and forecasted venture capital funds
earmarked as a fillip to the development of hotel projects
in the country is finally stretching its arm towards the Indian
hospitality industry. For the relatively cash-starved hoteliers
fretting over sourcing capital to fuel expansions, this could
not be better news.

The third edition of the Galileo Express Travel & Tourism
Awards which unfolded at the Hilton Towers, Mumbai on December
7, 2005, saw the cream of the hospitality and travel industry
converge, network and applaud the winners they chose to vote
for. These awards which were held in Mumbai for the first
time, are organised by the Indian Express Business Publications
Division.
