 Jerry Rao, founder, CEO and chairman of Mphasis, has joined the board of directors of The Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd, formerly known as the Baljee Group. He brings his expertise in finance and IT and has also invested in the company.
Pradipto Biswas has been appointed as head (Sales & Marketing) at Park Plaza Royal Palms, Mumbai. He has eight years of experience in the Indian hospitality industry and will be responsible for revenue generation and creating brand awareness for the Park Plaza brand in Mumbai.

Three general managers have been promoted to area directors
(All of them will continue to operate from their existing hotels)
AP Singh (GM at La Place Park Inn Lucknow) in his new capacity will oversee the newly opened The Solluna Resort, Corbett.
Nipun Vig (GM of Majestic Park Plaza, Ludhiana) as the new area director will oversee Hotel Ritz Plaza, Amritsar.
Rahul Lall (GM of Park Plaza, Jaipur) will oversee Park Plaza, Jodhpur.
