Two New Restaurants From The Baljee Stable

EH&C staff - Bangalore

The Baljee Group of Hotels have started two new restaurants in Bangalore within the two properties owned by them. Royal Orchid, the premium hotel of the group will boast of a South-East Asian cuisine christened Ginseng. The Central Park hotel, the group’s four star property will now have a Continental and Oriental fusion cuisine restaurant named Paparazzi.

According to Shekar Bhargava, vice president-development, Baljee group, “Paparazzi is a very contemporary restaurant with a focus on celebrity food, which tries to play on the lifestyle of the upmarket people. Ginseng is more traditional in its approach and has a typical South East Asia aura. The restaurant has been inspired by a ancient herb of China, and the cuisine has shades of the same.”

Paparazzi seats about 90 people and has no concrete walls. “The restaurant is situated on the 10th floor and has glass walls, which gives a tremendous view of the city. The delicacies served include flaming kebab sword, grilled vegetable tower with tomato, pommedori with cheese sadayon, etc,” said Bhargava.

Ginseng has 72 covers and serves Oriental delicacies not just from China but from the entire South East Asian region.
