EPSCO India Launches New Product

Vyas Sivanand - Mumbai

Environment Protection Services Company’s (EPSCO) India operations, is entering Chennai after having established base in Mumbai in the year 2001. The company subsequently had operations in Hyderabad and Delhi. They have also set up a branch in Kolkata, now. The company is planning to open branches in other emerging cities like Bangalore.

The company, which offers services in indoor air quality, A/C systems cleaning, allergy and asthma control, water systems cleaning, kitchen & laundry cleaning and asbestos abatement is now also planning to offer flood & fire restoration services. According to Suhail Parker, managing director, EPSCO-India, “We are getting into flood and fire restoration services as a result of the recent flooding the city of Mumbai witnessed. By the next rainy season, we will have a completely trained team to handle any emergency related to flood and fire.”

The company has also launched a new product, which was recently introduced in the Indian market. The product named Aeris Guard offers specialised treatment for A/C coils. Elaborating on this unique product, Parker said, “Air-conditioning systems are perfect ground for growth of fungal organisms, mould spores and bacteria containing a range of Macromolecular Organic Dust (MOD). As air passes through untreated A/C coils, it collects MOD particles and gets introduced to indoor environments. Aeris Guard addresses the problem by inhibiting microbial contamination of the system so that the air remains healthy.”

EPSCO was formed in 1995 in Dubai and soon branches were opened in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and in India. It was the first company to have achieved a joint certification for an integrated ISO 9001:2000, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system in the UAE. The company pioneered in introducing Indoor Air Quality Services in Asia.
