eToursonline Commercially Launches First Indian Hotel CRS

eToursonline, a division of Forever Travel Distribution Pvt. Ltd. recently launched the latest CRS technology aimed to address the growing business needs of domestic travel agents to book Indian hotels on one centralised platform. The new CRS platform called TravelX is based on the integrated solution framework from Verchaska, the leading global Travel Technology service provider.

TravelX will provide rich booking and search functionalities allowing the Indian travel agent to search for tariffs and inventory of 900 properties including all segments of hotels, resorts and service apartments across India.

The core objective of etours, the creator of this platform is to open market opportunities, inaccessible products and the technology before the hospitality and travel industry in India.

This CRS technology platform provides multiple service providers viz. hoteliers onto a single platform to a travel agent who is facilitated to identify the right property and price using integrated functions of the CRS. Thus helping the agent to improve the customer response time and reduce buying and operational cost. A service provider viz. a hotel is able to expand market reach, getting higher yield and lower order processing cost.

eTours, founded in 2001 with headquarters in Mumbai, is the first Indian Travel company endeavoured to integrate fragmented Indian domestic travel business in the country. The company’s B2B platform has already e-enabled 1000 small and mid-sized travel agencies spread over 100 towns and made it possible for these small town travel agents to negotiate and buy an Indian holiday package, book a hotel and have a car rental service in real-time basis through eToursonline platform.
