KSR, Jurong International To Develop Five-Star Hotels

The Hyderabad-based KSR Constructions and Jurong India - the Indian arm of Jurong International, Singapore has forged an alliance to develop five-star hotels and shopping malls across India.

While KSR Constructions will be the promoter and developer of the proposed ventures, Jurong will be the construction managers providing technical support through master planners, architects and engineers.

"Currently on cards is the development of a five-star hotel in Ooty, a golf course with villas in Chennai and service apartments in Vizag. Following which KSR Constructions is to develop two shopping malls with a multiplex and food court in Hyderabad," said B G Reddy, director, KSR Properties (P) Limited.

Part of the investments for these projects will be sourced internally. KSR is also looking at getting some funds from US-based venture capitalists, Reddy further stated.
