Ritz-Carlton Keen To Establish Presence In Saudi Arabia
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is surveying properties across Saudi Arabia to establish its presence. “We’re interested in properties in Riyadh and Jeddah, and of course in Makkah. Hopefully we will succeed sooner than expected,” said Marc F Dardenne, Ritz-Carlton’s vice-president and area general manager based in Dubai, at a road show recently.

Hilton Completes Its Portfolio In Beijing
Hilton International has signed two new management contracts for Beijing, including the first Conrad hotel in China and the first Scandic by Hilton outside Europe.

Ramada Brand Launches Second Phase Of Repositioning
Ramada president Keith Pierce, addressing franchisees at their conference held recently, announced the launch of Phase II in a systemwide repositioning that aims to establish the brand as the 'global leader in mid-market lodging.'
