FHCL Celebrates Coffee Odyssey

EH&C Staff - Mumbai

Fresh and Honest Café Limited (FHCL), one of the market leaders in the coffee vending business, recently organised an event titled 'Coffee Odyssey' in association with the Coffee Board of India for the second year in a row at the Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre in Mumbai.

The event was an interactive knowledge-enhancing seminar on Coffee for food and beverage executives from premier hotels across India. Coupled with theory sessions and interesting presentations, laced with the knowledge of coffee experts from the Indian Coffee Board and from Illy, the makers of the world's best espressos, the event helped in understanding the art and science involved in making a good cup of coffee. Apart from presentations, the seminar would also include practical sessions on the selection of beans, individual blending, roasting, and brewing.

"Events like Coffee Odyssey help us give a discerning section of the industry, the food and beverage professionals, a first-hand experience of what it takes to make the perfect cup of coffee. It also helps us get feedback and insights that are very useful. The industry has received the event very well and the response only gets better every year," said CR Sitaraman, CEO, Fresh & Honest Café Limited (FHCL). "The idea behind the event is really to enhance appreciation of the nuances of the art of coffee making among our friends in the hospitality business. We believe this would go a long way towards enriching the coffee-drinking experience of their valued guests," concluded Sandip Dang, COO, FHCL.
