Barista, IOCL Tie-up To Start Highway Coffee Bars
Barista, chain of coffee and espresso bars has recently announced a strategic tie-up with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) to open outlets at select petrol pumps located on highways. The alliance will involve investments from both companies to the tune of Rs 14 - 16 lakh per outlet wherein Barista's contribution will be approximately Rs 7-8 lakh.

Expansion Plans On Cards For Café Masala
With the sudden boom of fast-food outlets mushrooming in and around Delhi to cater to the demands of the working populace, Shervani Hospitality, part of the Rs 150-crore Shervani Group, with interests in sugar, batteries and hospitality, is also looking at setting up three more outlets under the brand name Café Masala by the end of 2005.
