Global Majors Firm Up Investment Plans For India
India is to witness an increase in the presence in foreign hotel brands with Marriott, Hilton, Shangri-La, Mandarin Oriental, InterContinental, Carlson, Movenpick having firmed up investment plans in the emerging hotel sector in the country. This was revealed at the recently concluded, India’s first hotel investment conference - HICSA 2005 - held on March 7 at the Hilton Oberoi in Mumbai.
