Tivoli To Invest Rs 100 Crore In Two New Projects

New Delhi-based Tivoli Garden (TG) Leisure and Resorts Pvt Ltd, is soon to invest Rs 100 crore in two new ventures. On the cards are two five-star resorts of around 120 rooms each in Gurgaon and Greater Noida. The Gurgaon project will come up near NH 8 (Two kilometres before Manesar) and will be built on 10 acres of land.

Supported by the Tourism Finance Corporation of India (TFCI), the Tivoli investment of Rs 100 crore will be in addition to the Rs 30 crore inclusive of land cost already invested in their first resort, the five-star Tivoli Garden Resort, at Chattarpur, Delhi. In all, the company will have three resorts under the Tivoli Garden banner.

Said Rohit Gupta, CEO of TG Leisure and Resorts Pvt Ltd, “We want to create a niche in hospitality industry. We will provide all the upmarket five-star resort facilities to both the corporate and leisure segments. We chose Gurgaon and Greater Noida because these are the prime locations as far as the immediate outskirts of Delhi are concerned. These strategic locations are very important and our locational advantages will offer us lot of mileage. Besides, both will emerge as important destinations with the Greater Noida just being commissioned.”

The resorts will have specialty restaurants and huge conferencing facilities. The company is planning take up the franchise route for these two projects is currently working out a franchise package.

Other Tivoli ambitions include opening 20 outlets of ‘Breadsmith’, a bakery outlet in New Delhi and improving its already established banqueting services.
