Alia Begum has been appointed assistant human resources manager at Le Meridien, Bangalore. Her last appointment was as personnel manager at Angsana Oasis Spa & Resort, Bangalore.

Nasim Ahmed is the new bakery chef at the Grand Ashok. He has joined the hotel from Jeddah Hilton. He had already established his presence in the city with the Pastry Shop in the hotel which featured new and innovative bakery products.

Gagan Seth has been appointed as the front office manager at the Grand Ashok, Bangalore. He has moved from Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel in Mysore. Besides reorganising the front office at Grand Ashok, he will also be responsible for setting the standard operating procedures and review the yield management of the new rooms at the hotel.

Krishna Patel has been appointed as the public relations executive at Sarovar Park Plaza Hotels and Resorts. She is a diploma holder in mass communications in public relations from the St Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai. Prior to this her appointment, she was with IPAN Public Relations.

Jugesh Arora has joined as executive chef of Le Royal Meridien Chennai. Prior to this assignment he was with the Ramee Guestline Hotel as executive chef and has also served a long tenure with the Oberoi Towers, Mumbai. He carries an experience of 20 years in the hospitality industry from various parts of India.
