Lateral Thinking
Anindita Chattopadhyay’s cover story, ‘Matri’money’’ (Express Hotelier & Caterer, December 30) was very informative and interesting. The hospitality industry must indulge in lateral thinking and tap as many alternative sources of income as possible. The wedding segment is one such example. There must be numerous other opportunities. The industry must do some brainstorming to come out with new ideas.

Happy Anniversary, Taj
As the Taj celebrates its centenary, I wish to use your medium to wish them all the best for the next century. The rise of the Taj brand name has been nothing short of remarkable. How well they manage to retain this position in this age of global competition, remains to be seen. So far they seem to doing good and I hope it continues.
