Jal’s Titus Brand Makes A Foray In The UK Market

Anindita Chattopadhyay - New Delhi

Having established its Titus brand in the Indian hotels segment, Jupiter Aqua Lines Ltd - an ISO 9002 company popularly known as Jal - has started to export its products and make them available for the UK’s hospitality market.

The Titus brand products are single lever mixers offering user convenience, is sleek in appearance and is available in vibrant shades to match bathroom decor coupled with outstanding accessories. This apart, it is reasonably priced and durable. These features have, as per company officials, made the brand quite popular in the UK market.

Elucidating on the uniqueness of the products in the Titus brand, Sudhir K Gulati, director, Jal, said, “While the 40 mm high quality ceramic disc cartridge ensures better flow under prevailing or normally available water pressure, the lever is ergonomically designed for silk smooth movements.” Gulati opines that the other USP of his product is quality, precision and value for money.

“Our thrust is on quality right from selection of raw materials, precision control so that durability increases, methods of electroplating and kind of coating thickness. The extractable spout and the functional accessories are a marriage of convenience and facility,” stated Gulati.

The two-piece extractable spout gives dual advantage in terms of water flow and function of the spout. When the spout goes back to normal position, it becomes a swivel spout. Similarly, different functions are merged in a single accessory like the towel rail has hidden provision for room freshner, while the shower rail set comes with adjustable holder and adjustable soap tray.

As for the cost involved in having a bathroom fitted with Titus fittings cost, Gulati confirmed “A modern bathroom fitted with standard requirements of faucets and accessories would cost anywhere between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.
